This is a petition to the State of North Carolina for the creation of a specialty licence tag for the Plott Hound. The breed was conceived in the state of North Carolina by Johannes George Plott in 1750, in the state of North Carolina.
The Plott Hound was recognized by the AKC in 2006, but was adopted by the state of North Carolina in 1989.
