An application to rezone a parcel of historical May Farm on Hwy MM (the residence, out buildings, and 10 acres) was filed with the Franklin County Planning & Zoning Committee on May 17, 2011.
The request is to change the current zoning from “agricultural” to “community development”. This would allow the applicants/buyers of this parcel of May Farm (Steve & Jacque DeShetler) to restore the property and develop it into a premier destination wedding chapel and event center, serving the Labadie area and the St. Louis region.
The Franklin County Planning & Zoning Committee will meet on Tuesday June 21, 2011 and either make a recommendation to approve or reject the request. By signing this petition you agree with the rezoning of the May Farm parcel for it’s development into an event center.
We, the undersigned, are the residents and friends of Labadie who urge our leaders to approve the current rezoning application of May Farm from “agricultural” to “community development”.
