The local planning department is refusing to support the Regularisation of Zoning and Usage of the Crayfish Inn Restaurant that has been operating for more than 50 years.
They are demanding the demolition of a temporary structure that is on the current approved plans and has been declared fit for purpose by Engineers. This will cause the restaurant to immediately fail and 20 people will lose their jobs.
The Crayfish Inn has been a significant land mark on the Kwa-Zulu Natal, South Coast since 1945.
We, the undersigned, call on the Hibiscus Municipality Town planning Department to approve the Regularisation of The Crayfish Inn Restaurant and to withdraw the demand for Demolition of their structures.
