the drinking age should not be 21 as people at the age of 18 are allowed to vote, drive and they are considered to be adults, therefore they should have the decision to drink or not. the raise of the age limit will result in rebellion as people will be angry and drink to prove a point. with the age limit being 21 the will be a larger amount of people breaking the law. people i south africa have become 'legal eagles' at the age of 18 and teenagers today have been raised with the idea they can legally drink at 18 so if the age is raised teenagers will still drink.
