A large number of Pedal cyclists totally ignore the laws of the road and footpaths and endanger themselves and other road users and pedestrians. They ignore traffic lights, pedestrian lights, stop signs, ride on the footpaths and many do not show lights at night.
The government and the Police do nothing about these law breakers. The accident rate for cyclists is rising yet they wont help themselves by abiding to the law so the law needs to be enforced.
Just think how much revenue the government could generate by targeting the cyclist.
We the undersigned call on the UK government to enforce the laws of the road and footpaths where pedal cyclists are concerned.
