To protest the parole of my daughter's (Shelaine Maxwell) killer. On Jan. 28, 1998, Corey Alan Johnson brutally raped and murdered 18 year old Shelaine. Last Date to sign has changed--I now need them in by Friday March 28th to insure they are in his file for the Parole Board to view before the hearing.
She had bruises and scrapes on her body, she fought for her life! He strangled her so bad, he broke bones in her throat. His parole hearing is April 2, 2014. Since his incarceration he has had 10 disiplinaries-6 since his last parole hearing.
As part of the public of this country, I strongly object to the parole of Corey Alan Johnson AIS#201367. Justice for his victim-Shelaine Maxwell, her family, friends and the people of this country DEMAND that he remains behind bars for the rest of his life! On January 10, 1998 Corey Johnson brutally raped and murdered 18 year old Shelaine Maxwell in Florence, Alabama. She had bruises and scrapes on her body showing that she fought for her life.
Since his incarceration, Corey Alan Johnson has had 10 disiplinaries, 6 since his last parole hearing. By his actions, he has shown he has no regard for human life or the rules by which he is forced to live by because of his deeds. Both the nature of his crimes and his actions since incarceration should preclude any consideration for early release.
Parole hearing is scheduled for April 2, 2014. Deadline for signing will be March 28, 2014.
