Those who have signed this petition are in favor of Option 6. Option 6 includes closing Rimersburg Elementary and converting Sligo Elementary to grades K-6. The April 19th School Board meeting indicated the following:
* Approve to dissolve the proposal with Tremco for the RES roof restoration.
The presumption would be that Rimersburg Elementary will close, leaving the 4th-6th graders displaced. The petition below supports sending those 4th-6th graders to Sligo Elementary School, rather than any of them to Union High School.
All in favor of option 6 are against sending any grades from K-6 to Union High School.
