Minnesota's Governor and many in the legislature want to add a sales tax of 5.5% on all veterinary services.
Many animals may not be able to get the necessary medical care and treatment they deserve because of the increase in the price of the care. This will impact EVERYONE who is a pet owner.
It's simply not fair for our pets to suffer because the state has decided that pet owners should pay more to have and care for a pet in Minnesota.
We, the undersigned, call on Mark Dayton and legislature to eliminate the proposed 5.5% sales tax on all veterinary services.
