We stand against the D2,000 levy on vehicles with factory tinted windows. We believe this tax is unfair as the tint is there for a purpose - to protect the passengers from heat and UV rays brought in by sunlight.
In addition to cost, the process of obtaining the clearance is quite complicated and frustrating.
We hope the Government reverses its decision on this unfair levy and puts a stop to it with immediate effect.
We the undersigned, call on the Government of the Gambia to scrap the Tax on Cars with Factory Tints.
