We, the citizens of Clark County, believe that our public dollars should not be used to finance a Minor League baseball stadium in our community.
We, the citizens of Clark County, call on our elected officials to refuse any proposal requesting/requiring the use of public money to fund the construction of a Minor League baseball stadium.
Our concerns are many and include the negative effects on livability in neighborhoods surrounding the stadium, the Yakima Bears history of not honoring prior contracts with the community and the expenditure of public funds during a time when our local government can barely meet it's current financial obligations.
