There have been studies that show that increase in fluorine consumption from our tooth paste and drinking water causes an increase in lead(a poisonous toxin) in our body which can lead to many health hazards.
There are claims that fluoride reduces risks of tooth decay which is true but there are also other studies that show that it may not be only the fluoride that causes significant decrease in tooth decay. Other chemicals may be responsible for this.
