Lebanon did not agree to be part of this coalition because the Government should meet and take a decision. It's not the duty of the Prime Minister to decide on behalf of all ministers. It's a decision that requires the approval of the Government in a formal meeting and not the decision of anyone, even if he is the Prime Minister himself.

This is why, and once again, we stick to the election of a Lebanese President that represents his own country, his own people . Full stop.

We, the Lebanese People, refuse to be part of the "Islamic military coalition" led by Saudi Arabia, and declared exclusively by Tammam Salam, the Prime Minister of Lebanon.
