We are carbon based life forms, how long before we are taxed for breathing? Why should citizens pay when there are no alternative modes of clean transport(e.g- public transport) Where are the electric cars that we can produce but don't?
It's because of the petrol industry. We are not responsible for the greediness of government and massive corporations benefiting from the sales of fuel.
We, the undersigned, call on the South African government to oppose the integration of carbon taxing.
It is unlawful to force this upon the people.
Only Corporations/manufacturers/ business entities should be held liable for taxing.
