We are horrified that the National Front has decided to field two candidates in SW London in the London local elections in May 2014.
The National Front is not a legitimate political party. It uses elections to build a violent organisation that has a history of attempting to physically intimidate its political opponents.
The National Front is not welcome in our multicultural communities. It is a fascist party riddled with holocaust-deniers, neo-Nazis and racist thugs. It belongs in the dustbin of history together with Adolf Hitler and the Nazis.
As organisations and individuals we pledge to work together to ensure that Richard Edmonds, Tony Martin and the National Front win the derisory number of votes that their poisonous message of hate and division deserves.
