A petition in light of the violence here in Rockford Illinois against women and children.
We need a day to honor the victims and prevent any potential victims of such violence. We would like to proclaim April 17th "Natasha Cleary Day" after a young mother who with her two children was killed maliciously on April 17, 2011.
This date will be used to celebrate the life of victims of domestic violence. And give awareness to anyone trying to get out of such a dangerous situation.
We the undersigned hereby request April 17th, 2013 and every April 17 thereafter be named "Natasha Cleary Day" a day of awareness and prevention of violence against women and children here in Rockford Illinois.
