Akron Public Schools Is going to build their final High School on the grounds of the current Garfield High School
Until the new High School is built Students from Garfield with attend School at Kenmore High School The current Kenmore High School will be renamed KENMORE-GARFIELD
This petition is to demand the New High School Be named Cliff Battles CLC
The School Board lied when they said the new High School will not have any part of either Kenmore or Garfield.
Since the new School will be were present day Garfield (Garfield's part)
Cliff Battles was a football great at Kenmore High School and graduated from Kenmore in 1928 Cliff Battles played in the NFL and is in the Hall of Fame in Canton Ohio ( Kenmore's part)
