Review myspace html limitations

Everything I've read so far tells me that myspace is blocking alternative playlist websites so that its users must resort to myspace playlists alone. I don't feel it's appropriate that myspace would stop supporting these other music playlist websites for no apparent reason other than self-righteousness.

myspace playlists can only display 10 songs (unlike project playlist which will let u hold up to 100 songs on a single playlist & also allow you to post more than one playlist) & it makes you endure advertisments which interrupt the music flow.

on project playlist it says:
"MySpace, Facebook and Friendster have started blocking your playlists from loading on their sites."

I don't use Facebook or Friendster but I've been on myspace for about 4 or 5 years now & this is my first complaint.

I don't know if I missed a memo or what but no body asked me how i felt about this. I always thought myspace listened to & represented its users well up until now.

HTML codes have always been accepted in the past & without probable cause I don't believe that the right to have them should be stricken from the users of myspace. Why now are these limitations being placed with no explanation?
