Microsoft has a long history of supporting the reseller channel. This channel provides Microsoft with a way to provide individual consulting and service delivery directly to millions of Microsoft users.

As the industry changes and adopts a fee for service model, many resellers are aggregating billing and managed services and charging their clients an all-inclusive monthly bill. Microsoft has launched their Office 365 product and have snubbed the channel by not allowing their loyal resellers to purchase and bill their clients for Office 365 services.

Instead Microsoft has insisted that Microsoft will create a direct relationship with the resellers clients and offer a finders fee to the reseller. Most resellers are withholding support of Office 365 due to the unusual billing method that Microsoft has adopted.

We, the undersigned, do not agree with Microsoft's new direct billing method which has been employed for purchasers of the cloud-based service called Office 365.

We wish to notify Microsoft that when the billing model is changed and resellers may maintain their direct billing relationship with their clients, that we will then, and only then, enthusiastically resell this service to our clients.
