Build the Merricks-Balnarring Trail

I would like a path between Merricks and Balnarring, which would run parallel to Frankston-Flinders Road.

The benefits are:

-- Connecting Merricks and Balnarring communities together;

-- Improve fitness and health between the communities Great for cycling, running, skateboarding, dog walking (could go past dog park);

-- More accessibility throughout the community;

-- The path could potentially connect up with Red Hill Equestrian Trail/Merricks Red Hill Horse Riding Trail, and the Balnarring to Somers Trail;

-- Parents can send their children on bike rides or skateboard between communities, with confidence that they won’t get hit by a car.

-- Both communities enjoy a range of activities and places like; passing Merricks Beach, Merricks Dog Park on the corner of Frankston-Flinders Road, and also wildlife and nature.

-- The Balnarring community can enjoy the Merricks Red Hill Horse Riding Trail, Merricks General Store and also Stonier Winery with ease, without driving.
The Merricks community can enjoy Bruce Street Reserve, Balnarring Skate-park and;
