Mathematics G11

We, the parents of the grade 11 mathematics students, appreciate that the math department is undergoing a crisis due to a maths teacher leaving the school board. However, for the past month a section of the grade 11 mathematics students have been struggling with switching between the math classes between Mr.Mohammed Saab and Ms. Leslie.

This has been a challenge for the students to cope with the differences in teaching styles and the teachers themselves due to the inconsistency between classes. The students are suffering many transitions that affect their learning and will definitely have negative impact on their academic achievements and as a result will impact their future .
Our children should not be obliged to face the consequences of this issue having said that the timetable has been changed 3 times over the course of a month. We believe that it is best for their education if they would remain situated in Ms Leslie's class as they all have a better learning experience and understanding of mathematics being taught by her for the sake of consistency , callibre and class flow .
This math group is a homogenous group which they are all at the same level of understanding and it will be of their benefit to remain in Ms. Leslie's class Because this is a hassle to both the students and the teachers.
We understand that the school is going through crisis, however the expectation from the school administration to have a strategic crisis plan and management and that the education to our children is the least to be affected.
We have trust in the school administration , and this implies mutual respect to our children rights and to our right as parents paying this high school fees toward our children education .
