Our history is being dismantled one statue, one marker, one flag at a time. The premise behind the whitewashing of history is that Civil War Markers are offensive reminders of slavery. I submit that if we are removing markers of slavery as they are offensive, then all markers paying homage to Mr. King must go. Great Generals are being removed solely for their part in the history of our great country. Hiding them away in a junk yard as if they never existed. As such, there would have been no need for Mr. King, since we are pretending slavery didn't happen, no one needs honored in the fight for civil rights. We should not remove one hero, and leave the other.

We, the undersigned, call on the United States of America to remove all statues, markers and the museums dedicated to MLK. We are currently eliminating all offensive markers and reminders of slavery, I submit removing those statues removes the argument that MLK was making. No slavery, no opression, therefore no need for civil rights. Representing one side without the other is highly offensive to me and millions of other American Patriots.
