I have been at my place of Employment for 4 years. In this time, I (and many others like myself) have been subject to abuse, threats, intimidation and assaults, some rather violent (like with myself) and some leading to death!! These are from drug induced, alcoholic rage and just people already angry!! Some service stations have put in night windows for their staff's safety, others have not because of the need to make profit!! Does that mean my safety is worth less than their profit?
If so, this is greatly unfair!!
PLEASE help with this petition to make it ONE safety standard for ALL service stations.........NOT one for profit, one for safety!! Thanks folks!!

I Mick.C and other workers in service stations on nightshift in Australia, call for Safe Work Australia to implement a new policy regarding the use of security windows in service stations. And that is to please put them in ALL for worker safety at night.
At this current time, only a few service stations have implemented safety windows for nightshift workers. This means a worker can efficiently do their job and be SAFE in the process of doing their job. This also means no chance of physical contact or altercations.
It also means we can work knowing we are safe, and thus, making a happier work environment for these guys.
We ALL deserve these rights.......especially nightshift workers at service stations.
