On the last week of January 2016, an independent representative of Worldventures from Australia introduced and conducted Travel Parties in American Samoa, recruiting about 200 new members. Two have achieved the level of Directors within 82 days.
On April 18, 2016, we received the first policy notice from WV compliance citing a violation of policies and procedures in the filling of the application. The applicant in question was accused of falsifying information; when she selected Hawaii as country of residence when she was a residence of the Territory, and secondly, American Samoa is not opened for business.
It is 3 weeks since and all we hear are mix messages; compliance sends us notices citing violations of policies and procedures but our upper-line tells us to ignore compliance and continue recruiting, using Hawaii or mainland addresses. Now we do not know the past practices or when and where there is an exception to the rules, but we know this, if we do what the upper-line is suggesting, the responsibility rises to the level of knowingly violating the company policies and procedures, we are being coerced to commit "fraud".
We, the undersigned, represent more than a group of independent representatives with a petition. We believe not only in the vision of the founders, but more so, we believe the success of this company depends on the integrity of those who bear its name and promotes its product.
There is no question we started on the wrong foot, and we have explained that in our response to compliance. However on the other hand we have proven ourselves to be a worthy market. We have achieved rankings in record time, 2 directors within 82 days, we have recruited about 200 plus new members within 3 months, and they are not just anyone, they include major business owners, government leaders, traditional leaders, church leaders, active and retired members of the US Armed Forces, and so forth,
American Samoa is a Territory of the US, with a local population of about 70,000 not counting over 200,000 who stay abroad, mainly in the US.
If it is the will of the company that we come to Texas, we will get on the first flight out of here. Otherwise, this is what we see, the longer we wait the greater the chance of a negative message going out and hurting our chance of building this market. This week a third of our people have broken off and continue to hold Travel parties and recruiting new members by falsifying information in the US application. Please, hear our plea, and grant our request to open American Samoa Officially as soon as possible.
