We all know that the Australian Government overpays its politicians. Just recently Campbell Newman has had a $70k plus increase to his yearly salary which is more than the average income of Australian citizens. Why should they be paid so much to do so little?
Maybe if they had base wages they would do things better for the country. Especially when our government is already in debt. Let's do something about it!
We, the people of Australian, would like to stand for the preposterous salaries of the people in Australian Governmental power. As they reduce our pays and increase their own, we as a country need to say no.
It is our country as a whole and not their own.
