Merredith Cunniff is a nurse and social advocate for Substance Use Disorder (SUD) treatment and social justice reform. In 2014, She helped Phoenix organization open a much needed detox facility in Quincy, MA after the devastating effects of the closure of Long Island Homeless Shelter. Merredith is affiliated with the Middlesex DA Opiate Task Force and a member of the Council on Incarcerated and Formerly Incarcerated Women and Girls., Board Member with new beginnings Reentry services, Inc. Merredith also speaks with Massachusetts Senators and speaks at legislative hearings and retreats and advocate for diverting people from jail into treatment. She also advocates for increasing the number of SUD treatment beds in the state.

MCI FRAMINGHAM STATES: "If a visitor that has been convicted of a felony s/he needs prior approval before visiting and inmate. The visitor will be required to submit a Prior Felony Request Form and wait for a written response via US mail before being allowed entrance to the facility. The request form goes directly to the SUPERINTENDENT for review".
