As a student of the Brooklyn Friends Community, I have learned to stand up for my beliefs and have my own voice. BFS stresses the importance of individuality and self-expression.
We believe that leggings should be able to be worn the same way as jeans are worn. We do not intend on wearing leggings provocatively, they are simply more comfortable and better for women's health.
We want to be able to wear leggings without having to wear a shirt that covers out rear end, as long as the leggings are not see-through or ripped.
We, the majority of female high school students at BFS, want to be able to wear leggings the same way one would wear jeans.
