Robert had gone to court and had plead guilty and sentenced on a crime of "Aggravated Flight".
His sentence was 3 years probation and to pay restitution, court costs & fines. Now 3 months later the court has subpoenaed him to come back because they had made a mistake in his sentence.
We the undersigned are here on the behalf of Robert Lewis showing "CAUSE WHY SENTENCE SHOULD NOT BE AMENDED OR MODIFIED".
Robert is not the same man as he was went he had gone to jail. He is now saved and filled with the Holy Ghost and is an active member of the Refuge Temple Ministries located on Louisiana Ave., Lafayette, LA. He is working in the Drama Department of RTM working with the youth.
Robert had been called from God in 1995 to work with the young people and now he is doing what God has called him to do. He is currently working with one of the pastors (Marlon Mitchell) as a carpenter, they are working on a home that was lost in a fire and his expertise is needed to complete said job. He has been faithful in his church, family and home since he has been released from jail.
We believe that he is a changed man and he is truly a blessing to us. We pray that the court will see that he remains a free man because we all believe that God set this man free.
