The art & tattoo industry should be regulated, not subjected to a “witch hunt” that will close shops, drive artists underground and create public health risks, parlour owners say.
“The loss of employment will push professional artists into back yard tattooing sheds, where there is risk of hepatitis B and C, or syphilis transmission, through unsafe practices.”
The risks involved with these activities makes it worthy of attention.
