The NHS is under attack from privateering pirates. History (Hitchingbrooke, Cambridgeshire) shows local services being run into the ground and then the private sector picking over the carcass, whilst still hoovering up massive tax payer subsidies.
Beverley Hospital is vulnerable due to a poor report from the Care Quality Commission. Patient safety was compromised by the Management not providing the right staff training.
We the undersigned:
Strongly object to NHS services being put out to tender enabling private companies to cherry pick services and use tax payers money to make profits for their shareholders.
Call on the NHS to stop allowing “any qualified provider” to use the NHS Logo / badge on their communications as this masks their identify, confuses patients and disguises privatisation.
Urge the new Clinical Commissioning Groups to choose the NHS and not private companies as their preferred provider and do everything in their power to maintain a publicly funded health service, free at the point of use, and based in clinical need, not the ability to pay.
