Danielle Griffin has retained a position tutoring Chemistry at Harold Washington College for the past six semesters, including the eight weeks of the current semester. The central office is trying to terminate her arbitrarily because she is not currently a student at HWC.
Many students rely on her daily help to make it through their classes and her loss would leave a gaping hole in the HWC tutoring program.
We the undersigned, feel in the strongest possible terms, that it would be detrimental to the student body and teaching staff of Harold Washington College to lose Danielle Griffin as a paid tutor at our institution.
We call on the Central Office to continue her position here at Harold Washington College.
