As it currently stands the choice of Energy providers in the NT for residential customers is limited to Jacana Energy. This lack of options for the general consumer has forced the consumer to receive and accept a substandard service.

We wish to use this petition and hopefully the investigation report requested to support an appeal to the NT Government to allow competitors into the market.

We the undersigned residents of the Northern Territory request a formal Consumer Affairs Investigation, including, however not limited to, Jacana Energy's current Terms and Conditions of use, Customer Service Practices, Pricing & Tariffs (inclusion of 'predicted' meter readings).
