J Squad Unity Petition based on John 17

This petition states that as a Follower of Christ you agree to the following statements.

1. That Jesus Christ is the only way (and path) to eternal life.

2. That we are all equal regardless of race or denomination.

3. That we are to be separate from the world and understand that the world will not love us because of this.

4. As the one church family we should be working in unity in our neighborhoods and communities not for the sake of good works, but in appreciation of what Christ did for us on the Cross.

5. That pastors, mission teams, and congregations should make unity and education a priority in their community as "FOLLOWERS OF CHRIST". (John 17)

6. As "Followers of Christ" we are all disciples and are responsible in teaching our youth, congregations, and community discernment so that we can all wear the armor of Christ like wisdom and knowledge.

7. That knowledge of the bible and world issues/movements are very important simply so that we have discernment. This is especially important when facing issues in our own personal lives, community, workplace and church.

By signing this petition it helps (even ourselves) everyone realize that we need to work together and take a stand for democracy and Christ as one family.

This petition also encourages and motivates our hardworking pastors and mission teams to realize that we cannot do this on our own.

This petition will also send a message out to the world that we can work together as one family regardless of our differences and denominations. Most importantly is the fact that J Squad teams will be doing exactly what Christ prayed for in the book of John, chapter 17.
