Irregularities at Benazir Income Support Program a matter of public interest

International donor money which is a loan on the name of people of Pakistan is being wasted under following acts of BISP Leadership:-

(i) BISP working in 5 major departments (Waseela-Haq, Waseela-Rozgar, Waseela Sahit, Bomb Blost Victims, Flood Effectees. In all those department 90% employees are appointed on political grounds (PPP) people. No merit, education, qualification is considered. Chairperson is the final authorty to make any decision.

(ii) Waseela Haq money in shape of Rs.1000/ and lottery of Rickshaws, Buffaloes or any other denomination is awarded for political purposes, to make the party image high. If 5 rickshaws are distributed, for the function 10 million or more is spend and credit taken. Most of the people who receiving this money are PPP voters.

(iii) Waseela Rozgar was started in three KP districts in the last one year effort and now it has been closed because political campaign to skill beneficiary is over.

(iv) Waseela sahit which was intitally started for BISP beneficiary health is switched to life insurance through State life Corporation. For the last two years it is at initial stage and BISP does not look serious to launch it.

(v) Bomb Blast victims and Flood efectees are also on the mercy of BISP Leadership those are just trying to gain political adavantages on any funtion of BISP.

Recently incidents of mallpractices in BISP Sindh office and at BISP HQ Islamabad in Waseela sahit and Rozgar been in the media and are true. A serious audit of BISP is required and top leadership must be replaced to save BISP, the donors money which is given for the poor people of Pakistan. It is being totally misused by the BISP leadership for political advantages and personal use.
