The current crossing point on Birkdale Road is unsafe for children to cross at times when the crossing guard is not in place, for instance when accessing breakfast after school clubs.
The crossings would also benefit the wider community when accessing the local shops and bus stops and other facilities.
We the undersigned petition the council to install Zebra's crossings on Birkdale Road to access the local shops, bus stop & New Marske Primary School.
Allow Gurney Street to access the shop, bus stop, public house & church.
