In the UK you have to start paying 'adult' train fairs at the age of 16. However, it is not until you're 21 years old you get paid and considered an adult at work and get paid fairly. I believe this is completely unfair as me being a sixteen year old who is considered an adult on commuting fairs is not getting paid like one. I am about to start my A-levels and will have to work twice times a week to even be able to afford my travel to college.
I think this is against my rights as a student because I am not allowed any discount on travel to do compulsory full time education, baring in mind I really can't afford adult fairs when i am only 16 years old.
I would like the government to increase the age of a child's train fair to at least full time education leaving age of 19.
