51% of the worlds countries have prohibited abortions and 49% do not. A baby has a beating heart after only 21 days or three weeks. North America has had over 45,000,000 abortions.
23,000 couples in Canada want to adopt children; they have to go over seas to adopt a child because we abort many of ours. Every major abortion rights organization and doctor admits it is a human being. The number of abortions per year is approximately 42 million. The number of abortions per day is approximately 115,000. (This number is enough to repopulate a country like Canada.)
1% of all abortions occur because of rape or incest ; 6% occur because of potential health problems, and 93% occur for social reasons (i.e. The child is unwanted or inconvenient). In June of 2008 the Angus Reid Strategies poll showed that 42% want the procedure to be legal only under certain circumstances like threats to the mother or child. In a March 2010 EKOS poll 27% described themselves as pro life. Abortion is a $90 billion plus industry.
We, the undersigned, call on the House of Commons to abolish all abortions with the exception of termination of pregnancies where the mother’s life is at risk.
Ninety-three percent of all abortions are because of social reasons. This is enough evidence to prove that Canadians have abused their freedom of conscience and are aborting innocent fetuses. We are eliminating future generations. (Of a stable economy and prosperous nation).
We encourage the people of Canada to make the right decision and stand up to abortions. If we do not do something today, Canadians will never learn to accept the rights of everyone, because “a person's a person, no matter how small.” (Dr. Seuss)
These fetuses are in fact human beings and the first right of the Charter of Rights and Freedom states the right to life. If we abort these fetus's then we are taking away their rights.
We cannot ignore the rights of the voiceless. If mute citizens today have the opportunity to live, then so should these fetuses.
As Ronald Reagan once quoted in the New York Times, "I've noticed that everybody that is for abortion has already been born."
