Factories around the U.S are polluting our skies with harmful chemicals making the air harder to breath. Not only do these pollutants affect us, but they also affect the environment around us.
The pollutants mix with cloud droplets and water vapor to make precipitation forming acid rain. Acid rain can be felt hundreds of kilometers away from where the pollutants are because of the wind. The harmful effects of this acid rain include damaging trees and other plants, increasing the acidity of lakes, and corroding buildings and statues.
Approximately 2 million people die prematurely from air pollution each year. All this can be stopped by creating a law that all factories must use electrostatic smoke precipitators to cut down on air pollution by cleaning the smoke as it comes out of the smokestack.
We call on you to stop the factories of the United States of America from polluting the Earth. We call on you to help have electrostatic smoke precipitators installed in every factory because this is the only home for humankind and it is a problem that can be solved if this law is passed.
We stand with concerned citizens in fear of a polluted Earth and in agreement that all factories in the United States should have electrostatic smoke precipitators to clean the smoke as it comes out.
