The skaters, bmxers, rollerbladers, and etc of hopkinsville are looking for the community’s support. We would like to inform you we are fighting for a skate park.
We need a place for our youth to go to and have fun in a safe and friendly environment. The community for skaters and bmxers has grown tremendously. As this causes a problem for we have no place to go to.
We need a place to have fun and progress in our sport we love. Our sport is no different than any other sport, we feel we should be supported the same. This is where we turn to our loving community and ask you to help us in our goal for a skate park.
All we need is for you to sign our petition saying you support our effort in achieving a skate park.
We, the undersigned, call on our city council to help our youth in achieving a skate park.
We believe they deserve the same and equal support for the sport they love as all of the other sports such as football, baseball, and soccer have received.
