A national "variety store" has applied for a zoning variance to build a store approximately 200 feet away from Market 430 on property that is too small to comply with Town of Ellery Zoning regulations.
Frankly, if this store is allowed to be built, it most likely could mean the end of Market 430. This means that there will no longer be gasoline available anywhere between Jamestown and Bemus Point. Our pizza, subs and coffee will no longer be available; and we would no longer be able to sponsor numerous athletic teams and suppost our community activities.
You can show your support and help us by signing this petition to request the Town of Ellery Zoning Board to deny the request to allow construction on property that does not meet zoning regulations.
