Wittman Village Park is located in North side Visalia California. This is our most poverty area in Visalia. We are asking everyone to help us safe our Wittman Village Park since us kids are the only thing we have in our area to play sports, hang out and bring our siblings to the play in the play structure . There are a couple of more parks but are either to far from our area or are infested with homeless or drug addicts that some times have mental problems and we don't feel safe. All we ask if for your help to make our voice heard and hopefully make a positive difference for all our peers. We want our park to be a Children's Park...
We the Divisadero Middle School Students would like to take our Wittman Village Park back. We would like to make it a Children's Park ONLY by creating an environment that is alcohol, non-violence and drug free zone. We have limited parks closed to our area and we would like to make ours a save heaven to our younger peers and family. This is why we took the Tulare County Step Up Challenge this year. We want to get every person involved to make a positive difference specially in our area "Northside Visalia Ca".
