Children suffer from long-term medical hair loss caused by alopecia areata (a disease that has no known cure or treatment), chemotherapy, or radiation.
Locks of Love is an organization that collects hair from donors and makes high quality hair prosthetics to give to children to boost their self-esteem and confidence in every day life among peers.
The organization was started in December of 1997, and to date, have delivered hair pieces to over 2,000 children.
We, the undersigned, request that the School Board of Warner Christian Academy, bend the rule for the length of hair for males wishing to grow out their hair and donate it to children suffering from medical hair-loss.
