In 2006 the Stockland Corporation began the development process of Darcy's Peak, Gillieston Heights. It attracted interest from many families who viewed the master planned community as an ideal place to invest their life savings and raise their families.
Stockland who notably pride themselves in family friendly communities, heavily marketed the 2006 approved plans and the crucial element, a childrens playground and recreation area. In 2014 we still await its construction.
We the residents of Darcy's Peak, Gillieston Heights demand that developers Stockland deliver the playground/recreation area that was not only promised to our families, but part of the 2006 Approval/Consent for the development of Darcy's Peak.
