I just wanted to send a massive thank you to all those who supported Robert Kidd.
Many of you will now know that he did not succeed in winning his job back, however, he did take the ambulance service to court.
When they had finnished scraping the dung off their underwear they grasped at the chance to settle out of court. The result of this we cannot in the terms of the settlement discuss I'm afraid.
One thing I can tell you is that Robert's name was cleared & he does not even carry a caution against his name!
Robert can be proud of is the calibre of work he has given & the lives he has saved lives for nearly 30 years......for the record that is NOT Robert talking, he is to modest for that, it's feedback we have had when people have passed on their support and it has always brought tears to our eye's, on more than one occasion the tears have spilled over.
It has been a massive roller-coaster ride of stress, emotion's, kind words.....all the kindness & support drowned the venom that has been spat at us from a tiny, pointless & rather insignifigent little viper's nest!
Life has to march on & Robert is now working with a top-class company in the caravan industry.
He is a happy chappy doing the work he is now doing & if he had chosen a wind down to retirement, the new job would have been right at the top of the list.
So at the end of a very long & rocky road things have worked out well for us & we are now moving on, even though Robert will never forget the ambulance years or the people he came across during those years....well maybe one or two!

Give Robert Kidd (Big Rab) his job back, the undersigned want him back saving lives in the Doon Valley.
Robert was dismissed from his position as Ambulance Paramedic (Technician) based in Dalmellington.
We cannot go into detail because of pending legal action, but we can say that he did not deserve to be dismissed.
The Doon Valley needs Robert, if you agree then please sign this petition..... thank you, all Robert wants to do is continue to care for the community he lives in & loves.

NB.... People have asked about Miss Hose(Julie)... as far as we are aware she is following a new career path & is not fighting to get her job back or planning to take anyone to court.
We however ARE fighting..... It has now been a year & 5 days since the incident that sparked everything off, a year of stress at levels you just would not believe, but we are still here & if anybody wants to ask us anything before they sign then you know where our front door is, but please don't judge Robert in a negative light without asking his side of things first.
We the undersigned support Robert Kidd's desire to be given his job back.
We wish to see him back saving lives & making a difference again in the Doon Valley.
