What possible reason can our 'illustrious' prime minister have for taxing live music, except to get him out of the trouble he's created?
Volume can't be an issue as most surviving pubs now provide big screen (loud) tv's and/or karaoke (even louder) which, to me, as musician, create a much more yobbish attitude to a night out!
Along with the smoking ban which I can't fight, but totally disagree with, he's killed one of the main institutions of what used to be Great Britain! Well done Gordon!
We, the undersigned, call on the 'government' to withdraw their unfair tax on live music in our remaining public houses and clubs.
It's destroying society as we know it!
