Fitness for Parents looking after their kids future

The Belfast City Council is trying to close the crèche in Ballysillan leisure centre which has been running for 29 years. The crèche is used daily by parents and child-minders that use the facilities in the leisure centre. If this service is closed it will be a terrible to the community.
The classes in the morning will probably stop due to demand dropping, people will loses their jobs and most importantly the leisure centre will loses their future. The children that are using this service now are the future of the leisure centre.
The leisure centre will close in the future and we are afraid that this will be a stepping stone in closing the leisure centre early. The parents that use this service are concerned as this is the only time they can get a break from their children and also get fit and stay healthy or as the council would say” loose inches”.
If this service is withdrawn they will have nothing.
We, the undersigned, call on the Belfast City Council to keep the creche open.
