10th Concession is approx 20 kms, of which 13 kms is paved and the remaining 7 kms is unpaved. There are 30-35 families residing on the paved section and 50-55 families on the unpaved section, totalling more than 100 families travelling this road, excluding traffic from surrounding areas.
This unpaved section is dangerous under wet conditions to the point that cars have slid completely off the road due to the sliding mud.
Mud is caked underneath that is causing several problems with our vehicles.
Rocks are knocking paint off our vehicles and what should be a 4-5 min drive sometimes takes 12-14 mins because the potholes are so deep.
Our homes are filled with dust that we cannot open our windows. We can not sit out on our decks because of so much dust.
Our property taxes have continued to go up yearly but no improvements have been done.
We, the undersigned, call upon the Municipality of Grey Highlands, to complete the paving of 10th Concession.
