Enforce stricter rules on cyclists in NSW

Ok, it's got to the point where it is absolutely freaking ridiculous. The amount of illegal stunts about 95% cyclists are pulling is just insanity.

Here are my points:

1. Why allow cyclists on the road? The worst thing that can happen when a cyclist is riding on a pavement is that they hit an old lady and give her a bruise or two. Worst case scenario on a road? Um, multiple deaths?

2. NSW Law STATES:
"Cyclists are required to obey the road rules, including:
-Stopping at red lights
-Stopping at Stop signs
-Giving Way as indicated by signage
-Giving hand signals when changing direction".

If this is the case, why have I never seen a cyclist obey these rules once? Not once?

3. The rest of us all have to earn our right to use the road, why are allowed cyclists have the right to be allowed more freedom than people that have been trained to be on the roads? At the very least, it should be mandatory that cyclists at LEAST be required to ride on the road only if they have a registration plate like the rest of us. Motorbike riders have to do this and they only have two wheels, the only difference is speed! The most dangerous people on the roads are free to break rules without having something basic attached such as a registration number so we can directly identify and report them. Instead, they are free to do whatever they please. Other road users are required to spend copious time, effort and quite a lot of money to use the road, yet cyclists can just hop on a bike and do anything they want.

4. It is a danger not only to themselves, but to other people on the roads. You also state that "Failing to obey road or bicycle rules may result in a fine" - how can you identify a cyclist in order to enforce a possible fine if you have no way of identifying them?
