Enforce speed Limit of 40mph on A1122

I live along the A1122 and the speed limit is supposed to be 40mph, however the cars and motorbikes come along here at 80-100mph plus, i have recently had my cat killed on this road and i dont want it to be either of my two daughters next, i dont see the point in there being a speed limit if nobody is going to stick to it and i believe something needs to be done before it is too late as it always seems to be the council thinks about things after a certain amount of fatalities.
