End Police officers in Kansas recieving commisions from writting traffic violations. Pay them hourly.

In Kansas In 2012 it has come apparent to many that The state of Kansas Funds have been depleted, being so it is important that we are frugal with our Tax dollars.

The idea of being frugal should be expanded to all state offices , cites, and townships. When some Police officers write traffic violations it is the policy of that area to pay their officers and extra commission. This should no longer be the standard as it motivate officers to write more traffic violations than solve violent crimes. Simple traffic violations are much more profitable to officers and safe to write.

The residents of Kansas pay Taxes to be protected and served by the Police in their area. The commissions to the officers are paid even when the traffic violator cannot afford to pay the ticket and is on a payment plan. Where does the money come from?? The Tax dollars of The Kansas People.

We the people of Kansas find it prudent to change the pay policy for our Public servants , that they be paid an hourly rate and the policy of paying officers commission end immediately.

We feel that this change in policy will motivate officers to arrest more violent criminals and spend less time on Non- violent crimes. The state must have their priorities in order when it comes to deliberating criminal justice. The scales of justice must be re-set from time to time and this is one of those times. Further more we insist that all officers comply with random drug testing in their area they are employed. This will ensure public safety.

It makes absolutely no sense that those who are in medical field and other industries adhere to random drug testing but those who carry guns and are in charge of the public's protection are not made to adhere to random drug test..

This act will save the state and the people of Kansas hundreds of thousands of dollars and ensure the highest public standard of safety.
