End Free Tuition Fast Tracked Power Engineering Programs For Non Canadians

Recently the Calgary Catholic Immigration Society has been using provincial funds to train power engineers of 4th and 5th class at SAIT and arranging jobs for them in the industry in Alberta while refusing to train Canadian citizens.

This is a grotesque misuse of the tax payers dollar and is funding immigrants to work in an industry already flooded with qualified unemployed Canadian citizens unable to secure employment in the industry.

It is suspected this is a plan to supress the wages of people employed in the industry. Which is not good for our economy. The placement rate for citizens enrolled in a power engineering course in Alberta is 10%. This program is boasting a 100% PLACEMENT RATE.

I would suspect this is due to these people being willing to accept lower wages and working conditions going directly against the goals of every tax payer in this country.
